A great gravel ride that explores the southern tip of The Fleurieu Peninsula.
Expect lots of forested conservation areas, green farmland, historic ruins, locals going about their business and elevated, sweeping views of the ocean on smooth gravel roads.
Lots of fun, but very remote. With no services or water on route, you’re going to want to have the appropriate gear for any situation and to make sure you are well stocked with snacks and water.
I did this route as an add-on when I came to flash pack on “The Fleurieu Peninsula 3 Day Gravel Odyssey“
Getting there:
Adelaide to Normanville: 1hr 10mins
Melbourne to Normanville: 9 hrs
