A local favourite of mine in the green wedge, Diamond Creek to Strathewan.
A little bit of elevation but nothing sinister. Great for a quick dart around the countryside or as part of a recovery. You can choose to add on St Andrews, Kinglake, Whittlesea or whatever your heart desires should you want to add a few more km’s to those legs

Quiet country roads, apple orchards and plenty of kangaroos are a feature of this ride.
Unfortunately not much in the way of coffee or anything of note in Strathewan (plenty in Hursty) other than stunning views, the regions prettiest cricket ground and a bushfire memorial instalment near the end.
You’ll enjoy the climb up Hewitts Rd also. Did i say nothing sinister? Make sure your granny gears are in check.
