This route is a mixed terrain Audax ride that features every year in November and is a highlight on the Audax calendar put together by volunteers and ran by Gareth Evans aka The Melbourne Randonneur.

Nestled in the secluded beauty of Victoria’s eastern Strzelecki Ranges, Grand Ridge Road stands as a shining example of Mixed Terrain cycling at its finest.

Once a vibrant artery coursing through mining and forestry settlements, the iconic Grand Ridge Road now whispers tales of bygone eras. All that lingers amidst its winding path are the solemn remnants and echoes of a once bustling community.

Starting in Yarragon, this route will take you on an adventure through Gippsland exploring the finest gravel roads this region has to offer, taking in the townships of Mirboo North & Boolarra, The Grand Ridge Rd and the stunning scenery that Gippsland has to offer.
